Dr. Saba Khan, DDS
One of the best parts of Dr. Khan’s job is being able to hear all of the success stories from both her patients and her team about others feeling excited and proud of their smiles. She first grew an interest in dentistry during her years in high school, as it seemed to combine both science and art while helping to improve the lives of others. Finally, she decided to focus primarily on periodontics, given the opportunity she would have to drastically change a person’s appearance and overall health.
After graduating with her undergraduate degree, Dr. Khan went on to study at Indiana University, School of Dentistry, Indianapolis for Periodontics & Implant Dentistry. Today, she has well over a decade of experience placing dental implants with particular expertise in performing All-on-4 implant procedures. She is also a current faculty member at the University of Chicago-Illinois College of Dentistry, instructing post-graduate residents on traditional and advanced periodontal treatments and dental implant procedures. Furthermore, she teaches her own continuing education classes for dentists and has had her work published in various peer-reviewed journals. Along with refining her expertise and skills through continuing education courses, she’s a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association, and she’s also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology & Dental Implants—a status that only a third of periodontists typically achieve!
Whenever she isn’t at the office treating patient’s smiles, Dr. Khan is spending quality time with her husband and their two sons. They live near Morton Grove and she enjoys being active and involved in her community, as she’s a Village Trustee who works with the mayor and has been in public service for well over a decade. In her spare time, she loves to go on runs and play badminton.
