Our team here at Epic Periodontics & Implant Center consists of three highly skilled and welcoming professionals, including our practice manager, Elaine, surgical assistant, Clara, and surgical team lead, Jessica. Each of them has years of experience in both general and specialty dental settings, and is highly capable of providing top-tier, competent, and ethical care to everyone who enters our practice door. Cathy, Office Coordinator
Cathy is the linchpin of the practice, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient experiences. With a background in both administrative and customer service roles, she brings organization, efficiency, and warmth to the front desk. From scheduling appointments and managing patient records to handling billing inquiries and insurance claims, she is adept at multitasking and problem-solving. Her goal is to make every patient feel welcome, cared for, and confident in their dental care journey. With a passion for oral health and a dedication to providing top-notch service, Cathy strives to create a positive and seamless experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Jacqueline, Surgical Lead
Jackie is our surgical lead. Jackie brings years of dental experience to the table. She takes pride in helping patients with their appointments, insurances and treatment plans. Jackie is a proud mom of 3 children and speaks fluent Spanish.
Olivia, Registered Dental Hygienist
Olivia has more than a decade’s worth of dental experience. She attended the College of Lake County and is certified in CPR, Delivery of Local Anesthesia, and Delivery of Nitrous Oxide. One thing she enjoys about her job is that she gets to educate her patients and guide them on their way to success.
Olivia is happily married to her husband Michael and likes to spend time with her family. She absolutely loves dark chocolate!
Dr. Arnold Gorchow
Dr. Gorchow graduated from the University of Illinois Dental School and has been providing Sedation for Dental and Oral Surgical Procedures since 1985. He trained in Sedation Modalities at Sinclair Community College under Dr. Daniel Becker DDS, Associate Director of Education, General Dental Practice Residency, Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton Ohio and has been an instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support since 1990 and teaches Dentists, Nurses and Auxiliary Personnel ACLS. Dr. Gorchow has been an instructor in office emergencies using computerized simulators since 2005 and is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and Past President of the Illinois Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Andrea, Dental Assistant
Andrea brings with her wealth of dental information & experience. She has been in the dental field for over 8 years now and enjoys learning new techniques and skills that keeps her updated in the dental field. When not at work, she loves to exercise and indulge in self care. Andrea is very fluent in Spanish.
Jessie, Lead Surgical Assistant
Jessie has been in the dental field for over a decade. She’s had the opportunity to work in general dentistry, orthodontics, and – right now – periodontics. She has made it her goal to consistently deliver accurate and thorough clinical care to all of her patients. At Epic Periodontics & Implant Center, she enjoys the environment of the workplace and getting to work with so many great people.
Jessie currently has her hands full being a mother to four children of very different ages. Her family is quite active and loves sports. During her spare time, she likes to go bike riding with her dog Bailey as well as spend time with her friends and family.
